We would like to introduce our very own KESH owlet. This fine 90cm tall specimen is part of a city wide Public Art project that will be happening this summer. For ten weeks during the summer, Birmingham will play host to about 300 owls and owlets, all gloriously designed and painted by Birmingham Schools and Artists. A whole school competition will be launched to design a look for our owlet. Then our KS3 Art Club Artists will paint it up ready for its installation in a prime location in our Birmingham City Centre. King Edward VI Foundation is proud to be part of the Big Hoot, which is billed as Birmingham's biggest art event. As you can see below, our owl has been around a bit, even experiencing the eclipse!
