The Academy is set in extensive grounds. We have excellent resources for all areas of the curriculum. Having recently moved into our new £26 million building, this is a very exciting time for students, staff and parents alike. Some of the facilities include:
- Extensive ICT throughout the Academy including 11 ICT suites in addition to facilities within subject areas.
- Spacious Arts, Music and Drama/Dance spaces with industry standard sound and lighting equipment.
- Media Studies, Music and Product Design Mac suites including a music recording studio
- Spacious Health and fitness gymnasium, tennis courts, grass pitches and pavilion, cricket nets and astroturf pitch.
- 12 Science laboratories.
- Dedicated Sixth Form centre with ICT facilities.
- Learning Resource Centre with ICT facilities.
- Bespoke teaching spaces for Catering, Business Studies, Technology and Art.
- Student Services Area.
- Subject specific learning resources across the Academy.
- Excellent dining facilities.
Community use of our facilities
We would like the community at large to benefit from the great facilities we have here. There is a cost associated with the hire of these facilities. The facilities we have to offer include:
- Astroturf - (floodlit)
- Sportshall (full or thirds available to hire)
- Outdoor tennis courts
- Outdoor netball courts
- Full 11-a-side grass football pitch
- Junior size grass football pitch
- Indoor cricket nets
- Grass cricket pitch (with artificial wicket and practice net)
