On Tuesday 3rd November we held a careers day for year 10 and 11 students delivered by the Transformation Trust in partnership with Barclays Life Skills. The year 10 session focused on communication skills, presenting yourself well, self-confidence skills and utilising your abilities. Whereas the year 11 session focused on uniqueness, responsibility, selling yourself well and writing a CV. Many of the students produced a very detailed CV highlighting their personal credentials. Both of the sessions were informative, giving the students new ideas to help them to develop their thinking in the future. At the end of the session students were buzzing with enthusiasm and confidence. We look forward to welcoming Steve and the Barclay’s Volunteers back next week for another fun filled session.
