It was quite the frightful eve at KESH as the sun went down on Wednesday: our wonderful students took to a brass banded and spot light lit stage to immerse ourselves in some terribly torturous tales that came from our students’ minds. The audience screamed for their favourites in a merciless manner and the judges (Miss Dyerbolical, Miss Terryfiying, Mr Toad of Toad Hall Green, and Ms Elchop) cut the wheat from the chaff to find the House Horror Story Slayer of 2021: Aayan of 9D from Tolkien #terriblyterrific #halloweenhorror #childwriters #extracurricular #performance #yeswecan #tweettheterrible

Miss Terryfying was thoroughly spooked by this year’s House Halloween Horror story contestants. Special shout out to Reehan and Skye for exceedingly terrifying stories. Well done Aayan for seizing first– an exceptional tale with spine-chilling vocabulary. Keep it up!”
