On Monday 11th October a small group of dedicated and talented Y8 and Y9 students performed a 30 minute version of THE TEMPEST at the Old Rep Theatre in Birmingham City Centre as part of the Shakespeare Schools Festival. Superbly cast, organised and directed by Mrs Jessett, the group were a real credit to our Academy and received very positive praise from the festival organisers and audience.

"It was a great production, with so much attention to detail, teamwork and raw talent. The use of make-up and costumes helped place the characters in the right worlds and make the story clear and accessible to the audience."
