Last night saw the House football competition kick off for Year 8. It was a wonderful and exhilarating competition that heated up what was an extremely cold evening on the Astroturf. With the mixed teams taking to the competition in forms, and collectively as houses, we had two prizes: winning form and winning house (calculated from all goals scored).
Winning Form: 8D with a wonderful 10 goals scored – and some exceptional performances from the likes of Harry, David, Theo and Katie holding up the goal.
Overall, the winning house with the most goals were: 1st: Lloyd (12 goals), 2nd: Tolkien, 3rd: Walters, 4th: Parkes.
A massive thanks to the PE department for running this event – it was such a great atmosphere and the students loved it. Also, it was great to see the form tutors out supporting their form groups: the students were loving seeing their teachers watching them play.
