Birmingham connect - commonwealth games 2022
We are part of the Birmingham connect initiative where we use the power of sport and excitement of the commonwealth games in Birmingham next summer to promote social integration of young people aged 12-14. We are paired with schools across the city and take part in meaningful social mixing to improve attitudes and perceptions held of people with different backgrounds; driven by young people who will catalyse change. @unibirmingham @youthsporttrust @birminghamcg22 #changinglives
Jujitsu
Mr Hussain has organised some professional jujitsu coaches to come in and deliver sessions - we have had a good uptake but definitely needs improved attendance - please encourage students in Years 9, 10 and 11 to attend.
